This one starts dark, but stick around until the end for a happy ending!

Have you ever held back from sharing something because you were afraid if the other person knew it, they would somehow be *better* than you? Like...I've got to keep this to myself so that I'm the best.

I'll admit, I struggle quite a bit with comparison. This poem goes deep into the wicked thoughts we may have while witnessing other people's success, and the hesitation we may experience in rooting for others.

Really, though, it's mutual encouragement and support that makes the world go round. AND we feel SO MUCH BETTER! when empowering one another rather than fighting our way to the top.
