Social media makes it so tempting to get caught up in the numbers: how many subscribers do I have? How many views did this get?

I'm finding, though, that when I focus on what will appeal to the masses, I tend to produce lower quality work - AND I'm having less fun!!

As an artist, I'm learning to trust the process: my words will find their way to those who are meant to hear them :)
