After receiving positive feedback about my poetry, I started submitting it online to publications and contests. After consistent rejections...I wrote this poem in satirical frustration 🙃 Truth be told, I don't read classic poetry that often (perhaps that's obvious?). I do appreciate and enjoy all styles, and I think it's healthy to celebrate our individuality as writers!
