choose to accept 

choose to feed our dreams 

and choose 

to neglect

  pesky doubts and foolish fears 

choose wisdom beyond our years

Generational patterns

seem bound for perpetuity

We can opt to end the cycle

with a little ingenuity

creative possibilities

We can elect to see a new way

Life’s got no playbook -

Power Move: Select one thing that you can CHOOSE to see or do differently. How would your life change?

Tip: start small.

Example: for a while now, I’ve been complaining that I don’t like the house I’m renting, but I can’t find anything else at the moment. So I chose to view the situation as an opportunity to practice accepting what is, and I chose to invest in making my current house prettier (buying plants, redecorating, tidying up, etc). Both these choices have led to higher satisfaction with my living space in what previously felt like a situation that was “out of my control.”
